Talalay process and Dunlop process are two different methods for manufacturing latex mattresses and pillows, with the main difference being the production process:
- Tralei Craft:
- ⭐ First, inject natural latex liquid into the mold, but the injection amount is less than the mold volume. Then, foam under vacuum conditions to evenly distribute and expand the latex until it fills the entire mold.
- ⭐ The foamed latex is shaped under freezing conditions to ensure its structural stability and lock the pores, resulting in a uniform and fine open honeycomb structure with good breathability and elasticity in the finished product 👍
- ⭐ Finally, sulfurization treatment is carried out using high-temperature steam to solidify and shape it
- Dunlop process:
- ⭐ Inject natural latex into the mold at once and foam it under normal pressure.
- ⭐ After foaming, the latex is directly subjected to heating and vulcanization treatment to solidify and form. Due to the lack of vacuum, freezing and other steps during this process, the internal structure of the formed latex is relatively tight, and the distribution of pores is not as uniform as the Tralei process.
- ⭐ Latex products produced by Dunlop process generally have high density and hardness 🉑 ️
- Overall, latex products made by Tralei technology are softer, more comfortable, and have better breathability, but due to the complex production process, the cost is relatively high 👌
- The products made by Dunlop process are more solid and durable, with high cost-effectiveness ✌️
