I personally think latex mattresses can be bought, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages
Advantages: Personally, I think its sleeping experience is better than many other mattresses. It is soft but not very hard, and it is a combination of softness and rigidity, with strong support. After using it for 2 years, it has turned slightly yellow (due to oxidation), which is normal. Its sleeping experience has indeed improved my sleep quality, and I even feel a bit lazy in bed.
Disadvantage: At that time, in order to choose a latex mattress, one had to do homework. Everything has its pros and cons. If one did not do homework and bought synthetic latex, the mattress may now become dusty. After doing homework, buying a pure natural mattress is still very good. Here is the point that there are too many inferior products, and choosing a pure one requires effort.
I think the issue of breathability is okay. I have seen some people say it’s stuffy (personally not), so I would flip it over and use it. However, the latex mattresses imported from Thailand have a cut surface, and I personally think the breathability of the cut surface will be better than that of the uncut surface.
Summary of advantages: Comfortable to sleep, moderate price, but definitely not cheap unless you buy synthetic latex.
In addition, the material is natural latex, which has better environmental friendliness (the mattress mainly needs to be comfortable to use).
Summary of drawbacks: There are too many inferior products, and it is not easy to buy good latex. Buying it casually will definitely cause pitfalls, and synthetic latex will powder.
Not to mention mite and antibacterial measures, many materials are available, but I don’t think they are very meaningful.
